The first useful question is not “What activity should I use?”
Activities are easy to collect. Alignment is harder. Begin with what students must understand or demonstrate, what evidence would prove it, and how much time is actually available. Then choose the lesson structure. This prevents an attractive activity from pulling instruction away from the intended learning.
A better starting point creates a better lesson

Let classroom evidence finish the work
After the lesson, note where students succeeded, hesitated, or used an unexpected strategy. Those observations should shape the next activity and the next plan.
